Do women get a feeling of power when they reject men?

I hear my buddies say that all the time.

That women like to reject men because it makes them feel superior and it makes them feel powerful.

Women who have been raised as spoiled brats or with daddy issues tend to be nasty with their rejection. But most women don't feel anything. If she is not feeling attraction for you, she will not feel anything for you nor will she self reflect unless she is a gold digger.

Women take no pleasure from rejecting others. Some men are very fragile and imagine that women somehow gain something from it.

Women that mock men that ask them out probably feel powerful when do it. For those women though just remember that she could have said yes and you would have found out she's a b_*tch later on instead of discovering she's a b_*tch right away.

Yes, the more public the rejection they more they got off on it. If they take you aside and do it quietly and gently, you just weren't their type and they not trying to hurt you. These are good people and you shouldn't take it personally.

It wasn't like that for me when I was dating. If I'd gone out with a guy for a couple of dates and realized that I wasn't interested in pursuing a relationship with him, I'd tell him so as gently as I could. I didn't want to hurt his feelings and I wanted to part as friends if that was possible. Perhaps it is a power trip for some women or perhaps some guys view it that way. Maybe some guys don't like sharing the power in a relationship.
