Do women get a feeling of power when they reject men?

I hear my buddies say that all the time.

That women like to reject men because it makes them feel superior and it makes them feel powerful.

  • Women who have been raised as spoiled brats or with daddy issues tend to be nasty with their rejection. But most women don't feel anything. If she is not feeling attraction for you, she will not feel anything for you nor will she self reflect unless she is a gold digger.

Hadn't really looked at it that way before.

Women take no pleasure from rejecting others. Some men are very fragile and imagine that women somehow gain something from it.

Not even close, and your "buddies," are extremely misinformed. Rejecting someone is never fun; if anything it's stressful and humiliating. No one wants to be rejected because it hurts, and that is usually a woman's focus when rejecting someone. She doesn't want to hurt the person she is rejecting, but she is trying to be as honest with them as possible. The other main feeling most women get when rejecting someone is fear; fear that he will retaliate with physical assault, fear that he may wind up stalking and murdering her, fear that he's going to destroy her social standing with mutual friends because he's butthurt-fear of all kinds of things. A superiority complex and a power trip is NOT what most women feel when rejecting someone.

Women that mock men that ask them out probably feel powerful when do it. For those women though just remember that she could have said yes and you would have found out she's a b_*tch later on instead of discovering she's a b_*tch right away.

Women are known as the "gate keepers" of evolution. They (mostly) get to decide what genes they take in and procreate with. There is some marine life that doesn't deposit the sperm she takes, but banks it all separately, later choosing which ones to impregnate herself with.

With a (human) 18 year investment following sex, they are rightfully picky. The state says I know how minds work but given what I just said, what women do when they run the emotions of evolutionary drives through the spider web of evil they call cognition, I have no clue. Men make themselves vulnerable by asking to procreate. Next day his dog is stuffed in the tailpipe of his car while she sends all his friends pictures of his dick. This is evolution at play.

Yes, the more public the rejection they more they got off on it. If they take you aside and do it quietly and gently, you just weren't their type and they not trying to hurt you. These are good people and you shouldn't take it personally.

yes thats why so many women invent fantasy situations where men are supposedly hitting on them etc

It wasn't like that for me when I was dating. If I'd gone out with a guy for a couple of dates and realized that I wasn't interested in pursuing a relationship with him, I'd tell him so as gently as I could. I didn't want to hurt his feelings and I wanted to part as friends if that was possible. Perhaps it is a power trip for some women or perhaps some guys view it that way. Maybe some guys don't like sharing the power in a relationship.

You have a bad choice in friends if that is their perspective.
