What do I do now ?

I’m having a serious identity, I’m too black for the white kids and to white for the black.

You skin color is you're skin color. If you want to bridge across both groups I suggest you learn to be funny, make people smile and laugh. Everybody's hears speaks laughter.

Hmmm. It's funny - I often wonder exactly HOW DARK does one have to be, before one stops hearing this baloney. Or HOW LIGHT? You wouldn't believe the variety of skin-tones of the kids who've told me they've been told the same thing.

This is usually a cruel remark from someone who doesn't like you or want you around in the first place. The thing to keep in mind is it comes from a PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL. It's not the Judgment of All Society. It's this one kid who has it out for you, and is exploiting you to make him-or-herself look "blacker" or "whiter" than everybody else in the room ... putting themselves into a "leader" role within the group, at YOUR expense.

We all have acquaintances that don't like us for one reason or another. That's life. Nothing to worry about. The issue is how to handle it. Do you take what this bully has publicly declared to heart, and believe that there's a problem with YOU? Or do you recognize what's actually happening: That it's just one bully who is playing to their audience, exploiting you, in order to boost their own rep?

What you do is you get on with life. You don't confront or contradict the bully - that's what they want. Instead, you just continue being yourself and continue associating with your friends or classmates or whatever they are, as if the remark never happened. If some of them shun you, then so be it. They won't ALL side with the bully, because they're not ALL that dumb.

Just remain calm, and carry on.

Stay away from people that say things like you're "too black/white" for them. I'm sure you can meet black people with the same or a lighter skin tone than yours, and white people with the same or a darker skin tone. Look at Beyoncé or Meghan Markle, there are many blacks and whites with a similar skin shade.
