Is it true that alcohol can be tested for positive four days after a drink is finished?

4 days? Nope. Not really...who is feeding you this line of B.S?

All things break down in "half life." Meaning in x amount of time, there will be half the parts per billion parts than there was before. If there were 50units in your blood and the half life is 24 hours, the next day you'll have 25 units, 12.5 the day after and so on.

The real thought experiment is when do you have none? Any physicists in the room want to chime in? However as far as drug tests or carbon dating go, they are only so sensitive.

No. You metabolize approximately one drink per hour.

Not the alcohol, maybe the metabolic breakdown products.
