I have two Baofeng Radios. They were both working fine a few months ago. Now they make a squelching noise on channel 1 only. Any help?

Go to squelch settings and go up a number, it will go quiet.
I have the UV-5R, any channel can be programmed to anything.

Baofeng makes a lot of radios, and "channel 1" tells us nothing about what band or frequency is involved here....Show more
