Is neosporin safe for a Mucocele cyst?

I’ve had my Mucocele cyst drained at urgent care a couple days ago and right now I am taking amoxicillin. I have to take that for a week. Is neosporin safe to put on it? Will it help reduce the. Swelling?

No, Neosporin is intended to be used on wounds on the skin, not orally. I would suggest using Hydrogen peroxide as a mouth rinse several times a day. It is tasteless and inexpensive and very effective at killing bacteria in the mouth.
