My count is that about 8 democrat senators would vote against impeachment to avoid the wrath of the voters. In addition to all of the republicans, that would make it about 62 to 38 against impeachment.

The House votes on impeachment, and they will do it next Wednesday. The Senate has no vote on impeachment.

This shows you don't understand what is happening. The House will vote on impeachment Wednesday. If they vote for impeachment, Trump will be impeached. Then the Senate will hold a trial. The trial will be about removing Trump from office, which should happen, but as Moscow Mitch just announced, it will be a kangaroo court. Here is what he said about the Senate trial:
"Everything I do during this I'm coordinating with the White House... There will be no difference between the president's position and our position..."
He is announcing the trial will be biased in favor of Trump. That's shockingly unconstitutional.
