Now the news will move to a fight with Iran and impeachment will be a distant memory. She can quietly throw it in the trash can of history with such excuses that in a time of crises, it is no time to talk about impeachment. Pelosi is off the hook and off the front page.
In about 6 months, a reporter will ask her a pre-planned question about the impeachment. Pelosi will respond that there was no impeachment because the articles were not sent to the Senate. That will become the legal decision to that Constitutional question, and all of this will fall to a footnote in history about the quasi-impeachment.
