What happens if I pull out of group holiday? ?

So me and 2 friends were planning on going to amsterdam next week, all paid for and all planned but last minute my work have decided they can’t give me the time off. I feel awful and don’t want to tell my friends, but I’m just wondering whether or not they’d still be able to go? And if I’ll have to pay anything more for it?

You will have to tell them the truth as to what's happened.  They may be able to find another friend who'd be willing to go with them in your place and you might get some of your money back.  This needs discussion.  You can't just drop it on them out of the blue.
