Why do people like capitalism so much in this world?

I am always hearing how some people just love capitalism and wondered what those reasons might be in particular. Thank you for your input on this matter! :)

Lies about what it is, lies about the alternatives

plus the same reason people like lotteries...it makes a few people insanely rich

Because if you keep your priorities straight and work, you can go as  far as you want. I'm middle class, in my time working I earned two full retirements with two 401k's support. I make in retirement 2 1/2 times the average salary for my state. Social Security will be for my new Harley and Bass boat payments and two vacations a year for me & wife......
