I posted an answer to a question I asked, unintentionally, now I can't delete it. The only option is, "ask anonymously", must be a glitch.?

Does the Question have a Best Answer Picked on it ? if it does its not a Glitch once a Best Answer is Picked you can not Remove your Answer the Delete Button Disappears once a Best Answer is Placed

That may be why you cant Delete It

Once a question has an answer......even your own.........it's locked in and cannot be deleted.

You can try deleting your answer first.......but even if you do,   it may have already "locked in"  your question.

If there are any other answers........then you can't delete the question.

You can't delete the answer you posted? Typically the only time an answer can't be deleted is if the user who posted the question has already selected a best/favorite answer. Otherwise, any user who posted an answer should be able to delete their own answer (so if you haven't already chosen a best answer, then it would be a glitch to disallow you to delete the post you made in the answer area of your own question).

You can only delete them if they have no answers. Click on 'Edit' beside your question and then delete it. If it has an answer the Edit button no longer appears and you cannot delete it.

I don't think Yahoo lets you answer your own questions. Since your ID was the same on both, they probably count your answer as part of the question. Try deleting the question. You can always re-post it.
