How do I tell if my cats are friends who like to wrestle or enemies who like to snuggle?
Their intercatual relationship seems very nebulous to the external observer.

Cats love to play fight with their friends, and they won't snuggle with their enemies. When they are play fighting, they have their claws retracted. If they fight for real, they extend their claws and growl and hiss at each other. When they are play fighting, they chase each other. When they are fighting for real, the winner will not chase the loser.

Can they tell if you’re a feminist also?

The only way is to join them. Get down there & bite them, run your fingers through their fur. Use your tongue.

If there's no blood or pulled out fur, it's wrestling.
