I’m interested in buying a used 2019 Nissan kicks from a dealership but after test driving it from two dealerships, I noticed this annoying “groan” noise that it makes when you release the breaks. I was told that it was due to it being unused for a long time but once it is used frequently the sound should go away. Dealerships are not widely known to be honest so I’m not sure if I should believe that. Both cars were fairly new (although used). Both were 2019 and had a mileage of 20,000.

Talk to the service manager and describe the problem but don't tell him its from that dealership. The used car managers rarely talk to the service manager about their inventory.
Might want to move this to repairs for better answers.
Sounds like it might be a warranty item if its not normal with that car. Which should mean it won't cost you anything to repair.
That's rubbish. 'The sound should go away'?? Tell them if they fix the brakes you will consider buying the car. I expect lubrication is all that's needed but they are too idle or arrogant to cure it. Walk away if necessary as there will be many similar examples of Nissan out there.
Were those the words of a technician, or a salesman? I sold cars and proudly proclaim, "I sucked at it". I could not do what was expected of me to be successful. Very few technicians sell cars, but anyone can be taught to chase a buck.
