Women are biologically hardier than men. This has always been true and it's true for every species with XX chromosomes. Men falsely equate muscle strength with some universal "strength" essence because 1) it benefits them, 2) they're stupid.
There are many factors. Women are actually getting infected MORE because they make up 70-80% of frontline healthcare workers and caretakers. Fewer of them die because their immune systems are able to fight it off. There are also fewer underlying conditions and different hygiene habits (men seem incapable of properly washing their hands).

Women have lower mortality rates when infected by the coronavirus. You may consider that a win for the argument of who is the stronger gender, but deep down you know why women fear even the gaze of men.
