No and it is stupid, petty and ignorant. You are legally an adult. You are being treated like an idiot. Voting matters.... Its just strange to me people can force you to do things or force you to not have a job (work places) because they say it is bad for you.
Current law is federal law. Have you ever seen someone buy smokes from an underage person at walmart or alcohol? They have to get someone over age - they are forced to leave their register and get someone 1-3 yrs older like they are a ***** - lol.... Government sucks.

Sure. It is the same as cigarettes. Hell, we got machines that dole out cigarettes that are only 5 years old at most. So it more has to do with you employment laws in your mystery location.

Not in my state - the stores flourished and used teen employees (who would steer their friends in) but when they started enforcing the law - 21 and older - all the shops went out of business.

I think so. It would depend on where you live though. I am going to assume America in that case depending on local and state laws yes.
