How can I find the history of a specific Military helicopter?

What I'm looking for is the history of the aircraft. I would like to know as much detail as I can. At least the types of missions that it flew and the amount of time that it was in combat, as well as the conflicts that it was a part of. But after almost an entire day of searching, I haven't been able to uncover much. Aside from the location, which I already know.

Any help would be great!

The history of a specific aircraft probably wouldn't be on-line as the service would have no reason to make the history of a aircraft public knowledge. Later models of aircraft might have their status and history digitized, but with access limited to military need to know. The only way to get the old paper records is to ask for a "Freedom of Information" request. However, you may have to pay for the search time.
