Never known a band that divides people so much. I personally love them and would put them in my Top 10 Favourite Bands. Just wondered if you like or dislike them and why? Thanx.

Excellent band, both on stage and in the studio. The problem is their lead singer.
The problem isn't his singing, it's his egotistical preaching. Fans pay to hear their music, not to listen to Bono give a lengthy political lecture about African poverty.

U2 was great in the 80s. Boy is a great album, and I love War & The Unforgettable Fire. The Edge was a brilliant guitarist; he had this ethereal, effects-laden style that emphasized the anthemic qualities of U2's music. Larry Mullen, Jr. was great on War & The Unforgettable Fire.
