Cassette Spools Not Rotating ?

Question

I recently dug up an alarm clock, including a radio and a cassette player. The other features are perfectly functioning, but the cassette spools do not rotate at all, once the play, fast forward, or rewind buttons are pressed. Is there any way to fix it?

It needs one or more belts. 
   
Professional service is recommended --- 
especially in the case of a small unit like that --- 
because disassembly and reassembly can be quite tricky.
