They are not "policing the streets"!
They are SUPPRESSING the constitutional RIGHT of the American people to voice dissent against a legitimate and long standing injustice. Trump is launching an attack upon American democracy - nothing less - using paramilitary forces operating outside of their jurisdictions and with no oversight or legitimate authority.
When he realises that this action, far from gaining him support in the polls, will be losing him voters things are going to get very nasty indeed if he's not stopped - NOW!

When the liberal criminals started to burn, loot, and destroy. You put the resources where they are immediately needed and then return them when the crisis is over. And please watch the videos of Portland and Seattle, read the double digit daily shooting tolls in Chicago and in New York, and explain to me how this is not a crisis.

Trump's stormtroopers and thugs will not be federal law enforcement officers. They will be corporate mercenaries totally free from any oversight or consequences. And you raise a good point about Trump's mistaken priorities. Trump isn't concerned about our cities. He's assembling his own version of the Hitler's SA to silence critics and detain without charges his opponents. Trump expects these stormtroopers to be loyal to him and him alone.

The wall and the Mexican troops keep a lot of illegals crossing. So, the border patrol has less to do. So some of them are being transferred to the democrat violence cities (DVC).
