Is it true that some species of Giant Tortoises, can live over 200 years? can live much longer than the oldest known humans?
Jeanne Calment, a french woman, is the oldest human to have ever lived in human recorded history, 122 years. How much longer can some species of Giant Tortoises live compared to the oldest known humans?
I do understand it is difficult to determine for those Tortoises, because they often times outlive their human observers.
I assume there are plenty of other animal species that can live very long lives, that can make the oldest known humans, look like spring chickens in comparison right?
