Avoid at any that have are not permitted to fly to any country that allows other airlines.
Being banned means they are considered unsafe.

With any normal, major airline, the chances of any kind of incident are as near zero as makes no difference.
It works out that if you lived permanently on a plane 24/7, something would happen about once in about six lifetimes.
That's not a crash, just something that needed out-of-the ordinary handling.
You are factually safer on a jet airliner from a major airline than anywhere else in the world.

For my money, I will never fly Delta again. They suck.
