How can I read quicker?

I used to really enjoy reading (years ago), and I stopped. I’m now coming back to it however I’m getting very annoyed that I cannot read fast. I also want to learn everything in the book but I also don’t have the patience to. Could anyone give me tips on how to read fast or become more patient when reading? Thank you.

Perhaps you ought to learn to differentiate between adjectives and adverbs before you begin to concern yourself with your reading speed. It's "read more quickly", not "read quicker."
