Is a 'blank' wote useful?
Do you think that a 'blank' vote (in any election) is a way to protest; a way to say that you do not support any of the parties or persons in the line up, or is it just a waisted vote?

It's wasted. Nobody knows whether it was a protest or you just didn't know how to fill out the ballot correctly.
Unless you're trying to protest confusing ballots. Then it might work.
