What caused so much hate/dislike for the USA in 2020?

Seriously, I have to know.  For the past few months (especially around July 4th) of this year, I've heard countless things like fellow Americans are chanting "America was never great" and protesters burning American flags.  I also heard of millions of people in other nations saying how much they absolutely despise America, and used the #AllCountriesMatter tweet on Twitter to show it.

Another thing, is all the anger mostly over now, or are people still hating on America even months after July 4th?

You shouldn’t take random people on Twitter seriously. America is still number 1 in the world. People just don’t like Trump.

Bull.  You didn't hear "millions of people" anywhere at any time for anything.  You probably haven't even been overseas and if you have, you haven't been there very long.

You've probably read some news media that claims the US has lost favor with its allies since Trump began his term.  We all have.  That's one main reason many of us voted him out.

If you watch BBC America, you'll see that many if not most international leaders are thankful that Trump lost.  And they look forward to Biden bringing the US government back into the international fold and a bit of civility.

If anything, they felt sorry for us.  They didn't hate us.

Donald Trump stole July 4th to be a personal event. The world feels a little better now with Joe Biden as President-elect.
Donald Trump's global ratings in all but a few countries was bad.
