It depends on which "Hunter laptop" you're talking about. There are at least five now, according to the latest conspiracy theories. Supposedly, "Hunter" brought three to five into MacIsaac's computer shop for repair, all "water damaged". But, then, somehow, two walked out of the shop, leaving one behind. Now, the FBI has that one and has found "illegal porn" on it, but, strangely, after the FBI found that "illegal porn" on it, no legal action against Hunter was taken. Even stranger, the FBI didn't launch an investigation into Hunter; they launched an investigation into a foreign nation interfering into our elections. LOL! Now, supposedly, there's another one in Ukraine. And then, there's the one in China. You get the idea. The whole "Hunter's laptop" scam was a lie and nothing but a lie and Rudy, et. al., had nothing the whole time!

It was a badly hatched plan to smear Biden by insinuating he was involved in his son's business.
The story started falling apart from the very beginning. The repair shop owner claimed someone saying he was Hunter Biden brought in three laptops with water damage for repairs. However he left only one he never returned for.

Probably sitting in somebody's file cabinet in the FBI, never to be seen again.
