Is the movie 'Honest Thief' some kind of remake of another movie?

It all just seems really, really familiar. Some guy calling the cops or FBI that he is some kind of wanted robber giving himself up cause he got a girlfriend, them not believing him, eventually getting double crossed by the agents who stole his money, him proving that he actually is the robber. And then the scene where he told a different agent that he was being double crossed, the agent telling him to turn himself in, but he refuses and goes on his way to prove his innocence. Or non innocence.

I really feel like I've seen this movie before, but maybe it's just recycled from a bunch of different movies. Anyone else got that feeling watching this movie?

Yeah, saw it and found it horrible for all those reasons.  I found it completely predictable.  It's not a remake.  What you are noticing is Hollywood formula as they regurgitate the same old plotlines, and characters and tactics.  I'd agree, I had seen a lot of this movie before.
