The Great Train Robbers because they never used guns and the money they stole was going to be burnt anyway. 
And because their sentence of 30 years was disproportionate to the crime.

The root of this question is part of what caused what happened at the capital the other day. Why would anybody have a favorite criminal? Infamous or otherwise.

Bonnie and Clyde were pretty classy from what I've read about them. They were pretty much folk heroes to a lot of Americans at the time.
