What vehicle is better in off-roading a Toyota 4Runner or a Lexus GX460?

I am curious what car is better for off-roading a Toyota 4Runner or a Lexus GX460? I am curious because all used 4runners are very expensive and also Landcruiser's are as well, however the Lexus variant I am often finding cheaper than 4runners.What is better for offroading and isn't the Lexus just a luxury version of the landcruiser?

Keep it simple.  Buy a used Jeep.  Not the most reliable but they are cheap and there are tons of spare parts in junkyards.  And you will be an ASD relay guru after a year of ownership.
