Why don’t people realize that making everything a race issue is adding to the division in the country ?

It seems to be the same people who talk about equality all the time that are the most racist, divisive people.

I completely agree with everything that you wrote. The thing that bothers me the most is the cancel culture mentality, that completely shuts down any kind of discuss ion between members of other races.

For example, the Meghan incident. That could have been used as an opportunity to have an on air discussion between Meghan Kelly and Al Roker (since he was apparently the most offended by the exchange) about why it's wrong for a white person to dress up as a black person for Halloween. But instead Meghan was laneway irredeemable racist and cancelled.

Yeah.

Strong no on that one, chief. Not talking about racism has literally, never, in the history of mankind, helped anyone

Do you have any black male friends?  Ask them what the first thing they think of when they are driving a few miles over the speed limit and get lit up by a cop.  Then ask a white male friend.

I can pretty much guarantee you that the black guy will say his first thought is "I hope I don't get killed".  The white guy will probably think "I hope I get off with a warning".

And that's what you call white privilege.  IT's easy to dismiss racism when you aren't a victim of it.

that is very true.
forced diversity is also extremely racist - literally employing someone because their skin colour is not white.
the world has gone in a different direction since the 1960s. We're aiming for equality, but at some point we've become exactly how we used to be, only against white people. we're not gonna solve racism by being racist to the racists.
