If a test proctor gives a student an answer while taking a test, can the test proctor get in trouble or be fired?

One day I was taking an exam before the Coronavirus pandemic and I was in a room with 4 other students who were taking a history exam. 2 students were having a hard time on a particular question and the test proctor gave all of us the answers for that question. He even had figured out all the answers from his computer and he asked us if we wanted to see the answer key so that all of us can get 100%. The reason he gave us the answers is that he considered us as one of his favorite students. By the way, he is just the test proctor but not the teacher or professor who actually administered the exam. He told us not to tell anyone and when we got our test results none of us scored below 80%. The class exam average was 74%. This was back in the Spring of 2019. If a fellow employee or student finds out that the test proctor gave us 5 students the answer key, can the proctor get in trouble with the school? Could students have gotten in trouble as well or would this be on the proctor?

Yes, that is definitely not allowed and would be grounds for termination.  If that proctor is a student, it would be considered academic dishonesty, and could be grounds for expulsion.

Yes, he could get into a Lot of trouble if he was a graduate student. He could lose his?assistantship/job if he is?still enrolled. He was more than a proctor. He was a teaching assistant.
