Why did the De-Fund Police Party say it was xenophobic to say "China Virus"; but, now it's OK to call new strains UK or S. African variants?

Typical double standard??

Congratulations... That's a very good point. It should be interesting to see how the Libs answer that one.

Because of the REASON why it was said.  The variants are called what they are called to distinguish them from each other.  The original virus, in spite of being more common in the U.S. (and the UK) than it was in China, was called "China" to imply, falsely, that China had done something to cause it.

I don't think you are correct... But thats not new. These are the words put out there by you girls to make this all sound hocus-pocus. The Democrats spoke of allocating funds to some mental health groups to curve the killing of so many blacks with some issues that don't warrant  7 bullets to the back or kneeing in the neck in public places for all the world to see. The police are not equipped in those areas as we have plainly seen.

Hypocrisy is something leftists accept as a necessity for pushing their ideology and agendas.
