Why do people walk right past a sign and ask you for the information that is on the freaking sign? Is right there! And it's not illiteracy so don't even try that because as soon as you point out the sign they get all embarrassed by its like READ IT FIRST! So why?

Very few of us live totally IN the moment .. except maybe the older Buddhist monks who have trained their mind to be fully present at all times.
Instead, we live are thinking about the past, or hoping for the future, or merely distracting ourselves from this moment. So when we become vaguely aware of wanting information, we hone in on a human rather than search around for a sign to read. And the less happy we are, the less we want to BE aware of ourselves in this moment.

My guess is that they didn't see the sign
