Should I take a good paying job if the only reason I’m getting it is because my parents know people and pulled some strings ?

I know nepotism goes on everywhere but I don’t want to participate in it myself

I started applying for jobs in the late 70s when I was young and I had a college degree for a specific job career. It was also a time when affirmative-action started up. I had a terrible time getting a job based on that. And at one point I was even told by one of the interviewers, that he had to hire somebody other than me who didn’t even have the educational experience background.(he told me he was saying this off the record) I am not gonna say why because people might take offense but I will say that I am a white male. If I were you I wouldn’t worry about the nepotism and just take advantage of the situation. You might regret it later because after the Covid outbreak, there will be a lot of competition for jobs.
