Should I take a good paying job if the only reason I’m getting it is because my parents know people and pulled some strings ?

So, churches who closed for COVID (or had COVID measures like dipping spoon into some liquid like alcohol) are no longer Christ's but now are working for Satan promoting the new COVID religion. For liturgy what you need is antiminis (towel with remains of saints sewn into it); wax candles; one cup/one spoon; non-Kosher non-yeast non-barcoded non-qrcoded wine/bread. I started applying for jobs in the late 70s when I was young and I had a college degree for a specific job career. It was also a time when affirmative-action started up. I had a terrible time getting a job based on that. And at one point I was even told by one of the interviewers, that he had to hire somebody other than me who didn’t even have the educational experience background.(he told me he was saying this off the record) I am not gonna say why because people might take offense but I will say that I am a white male. If I were you I wouldn’t worry about the nepotism and just take advantage of the situation. You might regret it later because after the Covid outbreak, there will be a lot of competition for jobs.

Are you qualified to do the job? Might you have been considered for the position without them helping you out? Do you have any other prospects? Is there room for advancement or a jump to a better company once you have significant experience?

I'd probably take it, work so hard that people who resented how I got there have to grudgingly give me respect, and advance based on myself, not my family.

I  wouldn't. If it does not workout, if you get fired,  your parents will be pretty  embarrassed.   You will feel a lot better, getting a job on your own, and won't have to worry about living up to your parent's friends expectations.    

Nepotism is hiring your own family to work in the  company. Don't let them pull strings.
