Why is it everytime I post a question about dresses from runways, seasons 2020 and 2021 people here comment they are dresses from the 80s?
For those commenting the dresses aren't from the runways, have you heard of Google lense app? Google the pictures and see for yourself.

Most of the people on here don't follow runway and high fashion. And many weren't around in the 80's and have no idea what people actually wore back then. So they just say the first thing that pops into their heads -and that first thing is almost always nasty and negative

A lot of designers look to earlier eras for inspiration. I've seen many runway shows in recent years that reminded me of the 70s and 80s.
That really shouldn't surprise you.
