Can you legally register a car in Florida with a Guam driver's license?
Thinking of moving to Florida. Have a valid and unexpired Guam driver's license. Obviously, I won't bring my car from Guam. But I would need to buy a car right away when I land in Florida. Because of REAL ID, I wouldn't qualify for a Florida license for probably 4-6 weeks. I don't want a temporary tag, as I will need to drive out of state. I don't want to rent. I want a legally registered car with Florida plates, and I want it registered in my own name several weeks before I will qualify for a Florida license. Can this be done?

You could take one trip to the DMV with your current license, fill out a form, pay a fee, trade your current license and DONE! But now with real ID, you sometimes don't have the documents necessary (to qualify for a driver's license) until long after you move to a new state. Thus, the problem of needing a car before qualified to apply for a local license...
