YES< but WHY would you want to> Rent a car like you're interested in for a WEEK OR TWO to see HOW it SUITS YOUI wnat for a week or so to see if it fits you like a GLOVE! So many cars had GOD AWFUL seats likes CHEVY CORSICA. BAD back in TEN MILES>>>>RENT a car LIKE the one you want for a week or so to see FUEL MILEAGE< COMFORT< steering and MROE! It is a DIFFERETN ball game now and there are MILLIONS of unsold cars at ALL prices!

yes you can. But it's a best bet that you'll buy a good mechanically ready car after testing it and taking it to a trusted mechanic run a diagnostic test on it.

Yes, there is no requirement that anyone test drive a vehicle before purchase.

You can, but why would you? Some years ago, I was going to buy an Elantra. When I test drive it, I found that the window sill was too narrow to rest my elbow on. Sounds like a minor thing, but I do a lot of long distance driving, and it just wouldn't have worked.
I went to Alaska and had two vans, a Toyota and a Kia. The Toyota seemed much nicer, but after driving for a while, my a$$ started aching. The Kia wasn't as nicely appointed, but the seats were much more comfortable over time. You can't find some things out until you actually drive a vehicle. I'd never by a car without a test drive.
