I decided to study astronomy at home...?

I decided to study astronomy at home since i cannot go to college. If I buy good books on cosmology, astronomy, astrophysics, universe..... can i be in some way called or deemed astronomer in the end, after i have red many books. Can somebody give me some good books with explanations for the equations that are given in them, where is explained for example what m means, whar W is?

The best option would be to give me some books that are used in colleges and where equations are explained, whar m, W means, and where drawings are explained.

The thing is, it's just interesting and worth studying for its own sake.  But amateur astronomers have certainly achieved respect, such as Patrick Moore.

By studying on your own you can become an amateur astronomer.

Zeljiko,

You have cried out into the interwebs and I, "The Chuck" have heard your prayers.  You have earned the title of Amateur Astronomer in my book of honorary titles.

Astronomy is highly based in Physics. And Physics is highly Mathematical. You really should study Physics and Mathematics first, then later on you can move into academic Astronomy.
Or else just read Sky & Telescope magazine, and pursue Astronomy only as a hobby. That is what I do.

This looks like a fair start and follow the links. This is from a renowned magazine - you might subscribe to that, too:
