When in fact it was the Hindus who called the Persians Aryan. Aryan just means "nobel to Iran". So why did Hitler steal the name Aryan and the Hindu "Nazi" symbol as well?

You are correct in some of your facts.
The term Aryan was to describe similarities in languages between various enthnicities. The Jews and Arabs share a similar language and were also called Aryans.
In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries some scholars and others turn the Aryans into a mythical race that claimed they are superior over other races.
The German's took the term to indoctinate the people to hate the Jews, Blacks and anyone else they did not like.
That is why people think about Hitler and Aryans.
The Aryans were never a race of people, but a common language form.
The word Aryan is an example of how a word with a neutral meaning can be manipulated and used to promote a sinister cause

Hitler was following the idea that Germans are the direct inheritors of the Indo-Europeans or Aryans, as they are known in the east. Their languages were the ancestral ones of most of Europe, India, Iran and Armenia.
He claimed they were all Nordics with blonde hair and blue eyes, which was probably complete bollocks and there's no reason to think that Germans were any more the inheritors of that people than anyone else in Europe or Asia. Still he bought into that mythology and stole as many symbols of the Aryans as he thought could
