Excuse me? The US LOST the war of 1812! The Canadian military in Canada wore a special pin on our uniforms to commemorate our 200th anniversary of the win. The US did win their Revolution, mostly because the Brits were off fighting in Europe, and did not much care about the colonies there were in revolt (13 of the 40 colonies they had).

You would not want to call a Brit soldier wishy-washy to his face. He would likely re-arrange yours.
