Why don’t West Virginia Republicans hate Joe Manchin and why don’t Maine Democrats hate Susan Collins ?
West Virginia is a Red state aka Republican state but Democratic Senator Joe Manchin has been able to maintain his seat in the US Senate since 2010 and Maine is a Blue state aka a Democratic state but Republican Senator Susan Collins has been able to keep her seat in the US Senate since 1997. How does a Democrat have support in a RED state and how does a Republican have support in a BLUE state ?

Because in their states, the people are sick and tired of partisan politics and want their legislators to work for the good of the country, not for the good of a party.
RINOs and DINOs. In Maryland, Hogan is governor. He's republican, but from what I've seen, he acts democrat. He didn't vote for Trump, he voted for Reagan. He did it to show that he's neutral. So you can't count on him for any support. They are like spies, or double agents.
When you vote for red or blue, you vote expecting your representative will support the party you are affiliated with. But people within the party change their affiliation. And people are not informed of this. This need to have a red and blue is what divides everyone. If there was no red and blue label, I think that would be fun to watch. Just like I wish there were no user names online. If everyone was required to use their real names, we'd have less keyboard warriors. You meet real people using your real name. That should be the same online, but no, people want anonymity so they can say crap with no consequences.
