Of course. If you're a conservative it's easy for you to distinguish between your own beliefs and those of Trump supporters. Just like it's easy for liberals to distinguish between their views and those of socialists.
 
Problems arise when it's the "other side" who makes the judgment call. When a liberal looks at the conservative ideology it all blends together. Trump supporters = Libertarians = Republicans = Conservatives.

Absolutely. It’s because it’s not a leftist vs Republican thing, it’s a left, center left, center, center right VS far right thing. I was once a Republican until the GOP threw out  ACTUAL Republican ideals in favor of just supporting Trump, right or wrong. That’s why I’m a supporter of the Lincoln Project and why I supported actual Republicans like McCain. Trumpers are the real RINOs. There’s nothing Republican about them. ...Show more
