Why do liberals call right wing conservatives "Christians"?

I'm a true Christian and I'm insulted when you call these foul mouthed heathens "Christians". They're as godless as any atheist or Democrat. Don't try to tell me that liberals are Christians either, the Bible doesn't support abortion, sodomy, transgenderism, Communism, fascism, humanism, ect.

My hope is that God destroys the USA for it's unrepentant sin. And I truly believe it will happen sooner rather than later. Also all you Trumptards are so foolish if you think a wicked man like Trump can save America. You're putting your confidence in man.

"I don't eat meat, fish, eggs, or dairy. I'm a vegetarian."
"No you're not. You eat honey and honey comes from bees. Bees are animals. When honey is harvested, bees are killed. So stop calling yourself a vegetarian."

The point is that there aren't any official membership rolls for "vegetarian." There is no Vegetarian Ayatollah with the authority to pronounce who is or is not a vegetarian. There is no established standard to meet, no authority to determine who does or does not meet the standard.

No matter how much one believes that those who eat honey ought not call themselves vegetarians, one has no more authority in the matter than those who believe the opposite. Everybody has his/her own belief about what is or is not vegetarianism.

Christianity works the same way. Christians don't even agree on a practical matter like which day of the week is Sabbath. There certainly isn't any agreement what is or is not Christian and certainly isn't any person or group with the authority to enforce who may or may regard him/herself as Christian.
