Can you grow sunflowers from seeds that you eat?

I doubt it, they have been processed.

Usually not--the seeds are sometimes covered in salt, which will kill any growing parts, or they are roasted or processed.

Not usually, because they are usually roasted and salted.
If you can get raw unsalted sunflower seeds, they should grow all right.

Not if they are roasted and/or salted.
