Where should I look into for a future move. ?

I am looking for a place that is either flat or has rolling hills, is very green, has plenty of trees but not a lot of overgrowth, has 4 distinct seasons, and is not too humid or too arid. I would love to live in a place that has lots of maples, oaks or trees of similar height. I am not looking for insanely tall trees (like in the southeast). It has to have a major city with a skyline. Even if the city itself fits these categories, the rest of the state doesn't really have to. I'm guessing there are parts of the midwest that are similar to what I am talking about, but that would be a HARD sell for my partner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do this yourself.
Start by eliminating all states that doesn’t have four seasons.   Knock off in the Midwest of that isn’t an area you like.    Then look at the remaining states for major cities and geographic features you want.

Consider upstate New York neat the Finger Lakes.

Check out central OR/WA cities like Spokane and Bend. Boise would also sort of fit that bill.
