Why don't Republicans that putting voting restrictions, esp in Rustbelt states, CAN hurt GOP turnout as well?

College educated people tend to vote democrat, while less educated people tend to vote Republican-even here in GA, but the difference is more pronounced in states such as PA, Iowa, Mane , Wis. etc.

If Republicans make it more difficult to vote, they are risking losing voters. Those with college degrees can get around voting restrictions much easier than those without one. In fact, Democrats did better in 2018 and 2021 GA election, even though those are special/mid term elections with lower turnout than they did in 2020, when it was easier to vote and turnout was higher. They should be careful about putting in too many restrictions, as they aren't just restricting democrats anymore...

the GOP does better the less people that vote, they know that most rich white men will be able to vote no matter how many restrictions they put on people, their entire goal is to get less people to vote, because Democrats do better the more people that vote

When did having a photo ID become controversial?

I prefer to use the term "college-degreed" because so many of them do not appear to be educated.

I don't see how making people have state-issued ID and having reasonable limits on when and where they can vote (an expansion over when it was just on election day) is somehow "restricting" voting.

Matt, the GOP does better when there is a higher percentage of informed voters casting votes.  Democrats do better when there are more uninformed or low-info voters casting ballots.

They don't care.  They know that the fewer people who vote the better their chances.  And frequently they specifically target liberal areas while leaving conservative areas untouched with their legislation.

yes.... that tends to happen when laws are applied in a consistent and equitable manner....
