To tell the truth ... none of them are...but you should try to get a very low whole life and let it draw interest on it, They are all about the same so I use my car insurance company for all our needs.
Even if you have AARP you're not really saving any money. Been there and done that..

Life insurance is a product intended for young people with a family depending upon them. It's not for seniors. Smart seniors generally sell any life insurance policies they own, after their kids are grown.
Seniors can by term life insurance to cover funeral costs, etc - but the older you are the more expensive it is, or the lower the benefits are - and there are exclusions, as Anon3 said. Pre-existing medical conditions are usually disqualifiers. You would need to read up on the details very carefully.
You might be ahead of the game to think long and hard about what you want the money for, and how much money that would need to be...and then talk to an Elder Law/Estates expert about methods other than insurance to achieve what you want.
