In Ohio, how closely can you get registration for a new car and get it for the following year?

I know if you get a car registered, you get registration for that year mostly. I also know you can get your registration updated 90 days in advance in general. Does that work for getting a car registration too? Like, if I get a new car within a certain time of my birthday, could I get it to where I wouldn't have to get ot for both this year and next? And if so, how close does it have to be to my birthday? I hope this makes sense...

Okay, this is apparently confusing people. Understandable. Let's try this. You know how you can get your registration in advance for the following year (in Ohio, it's 90 days)? Does that work for new car registration as well? Like, if I get a new car within that time, would I get registration for the following year?

It is an annual registration.  You are not making any sense.  If you get one now, it will expire in 12 months.
