Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 and beginning April 20th, 2021 the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode.

The ability to ask new questions ends on the 19th April. The ability to see any of the site at all ends on the 4th May. Not so difficult to understand.

I think it makes sense - there are two phases. On April 20th people will lose the ability to ask or to answer. On May 4th there will be no y!a site at all
