Is where you buy your smokes and booze a government voting precinct with a completed and signed voter's registration card on-hand and government records with personally identifying private information about you on-hand so that the clerk selling you your smokes and booze can compare your signature with the signature on file and, if in doubt, ask you a series of personally identifying questions that only you would know if you are who you say you are in order to ascertain you are who you say you are?
Also, does where you buy smokes and booze only allow on purchase per customer on a given day and keep a running list of who has already bought smokes and booze that day, so that if someone other than you comes in and buys smokes and booze that day, they're doing so fingers crossed that you won't vote, even though there's a 60% chance you will, because if you do, then the liquor store will see that two people came in saying they were the same person, report it to the police, who will investigate, and the fraudster is getting arrested and charged with voter fraud?

Yes. But fundamentalism, whether it is religious or political, forces its adherents to be hypocritical. That's why fundamentalism and legalism should be a warning to the wise. They try to force rules on people who aren't in agreement with them about it. The Justice system has to be legalistic, it's a legal form of making rules for everybody (which is supposed to include Democrat politicians), but when it shows up as bullies who try to invade the life of others, like with 'trial by media' and radical Leftist political activism, it's unduly infringing, and no proper court is ever needed.

Nope. There is an age requirement for the privilege.
